This LEED Gold project required not only environmental conscious decisions, but ones that needed to be made in the short 8-week time-frame. Sweeping wood walls greet you to the reception area where visitors find full height glazing allowing not only abundant natural light but also a sense of the open and collaborative atmosphere of the company itself. All demolished items were sorted, recycled and reused when possible and the balance of the space was constructed with minimum amount of new materials. All the hard work paid off when this project was awarded the 2008 NAIOP Award of Excellence for Best Environmentally Responsible-Green Construction Tenant Interior Fit out.
